OUR STORY

Mission Statement
We are aimed at 10 –16-year-old students who are EBSA, have SEND or are struggling to engage with their education in mainstream education, particularly young people with social and emotional mental health needs.
Here at Saplings, we will provide a mentoring programme to suit the needs of the individual in collaboration with schools and other agencies. We aim to support young people with emotional regulation by giving them the tools to manage their difficulties through a range of activities, including sports, creative or outdoor pursuits and socialisation.
We aim to work closely with schools and services to better understand the needs of the young person so we are best able to provide them with an experience that will help transform their mindset and help reintegrate them back into school over time.
We will also work closely with the National Trust, local businesses and farms to provide a range of activities for our young people.
WHO WE ARE
Our team of mentors are experienced and committed to supporting vulnerable children. We have a range of experience in education, specifically in the leadership of SEND and Inclusion which makes us uniquely placed to provide both young people, parents and schools a level of support in ensuring young people are able to thrive.
